|Scope & Content
The collection consists of postcards that were sent or given to George Pugh Williams from aquaintances and family members between the years 1900-1913. Most cards were sent from locations within the United States but some cards are from Mexico and Germany. During this time period Williams received mail in Radnor, Ohio, Wooster, Ohio (1903, while a student at the Ohio Agricultural Station), Millersburg, Kentucky (1906), and Waterford, Pennsylvania (1907, while a teacher at a local school). Many of the early cards do not contain written text and were not mailed.
