Title Details of the Starr Family Collection
Object Name Memorandum
Scope & Content The Starr Family Collection was found in the collection contained in a large sturdy brown paper accordian envelope and contains photographs which are cataloged separately (FIC2014.1.301-326 and FIC2014.1.328-341 also FIC2014.1.355)
The remainder of the collection consists of the following:
4 ambrotype portraits mounted in closed 3 x 3-1/2" embossed display boxes: Peter Snyder Grate Grandfather; Edward Snyder; Lucy Berlin with her granddaughter Emily Snyder; Mary Berlin Snyder Grandmother
18 tintype portraits of a small size (1 x 1-1/2") found in a small white box
3 larger tintype portraits 3 x 4-1/2" found in a standard business sized envelope
4 obituary clippings: Snyder, Carrie age 18 (date "today"); Snyder, Arthur died October 30 1881; Snyder, Daniel H. died April 20, 1882 age 72; and Snyder, Emma died March 14,1850 age 7
3 drawings in pencil: a house with two doors and a tree behind; two fence posts; and a house with a chimney with a tree behind.
